today i surfed freezing newport with mahina maeda!! it was about 1-2 feet pretty small and crowded. We r here for the VQS. It turns out me and all the girls surf on friday morning bright and early... I heard there is supposed to be a good swell coming thru for newport and huntington!!!:) I'll keep you guys updated on whats going on.
hahahahahah me and mahina went into in-n-out today with our wetsuits dripping wet on.. I t was a funny moment i love how we are such kooks!! i think we might make a new fashion statement i mean you stay warm what else can you ask for!!

back from new zealand!!

okay well here's how it went in new Zealand i made it to the second round and it turns out the girls in Australia and new Zealand are really good..... im okay though the waves were super fun and we met such a nice family that we cruised with the whole time we were there:) i am so happy to be back though theres no more full suits and cold water now its all warmness!! today i surfed pipe with mahina it was tiny but still fun.. we are trying to get prepared for the womens pipe contest coming up i think tomorrow!! i hope the waves are fun:) ill keep you posted on whats happening!!

Bailey plans for New Zealand

Bailey is heading to New Zealand for the Taranaki Women's Festival, April 11-16! The event will attract elite surfers from all over the world and the Dream Tour event is expected to draw a television audience of about 50 million viewers! Taranaki is on the North Island’s rugged west coast and dominated by Mt Taranaki which has a contrasting landscape and easily accessible, outdoor activities ranging from visits to nationally and internationally significant gardens, to alpine and surf adventures that offer the chance to surf and snowboard in the same afternoon.

Bailey just turned 14....Happy Birthday Bailey! Bailey lives and surfs on the North Shore of Oahu. She is a ranked NSSA surfer surfing her way to the top to become pro!
